halloween is not my favorite

In this college town, Halloween is a big deal that usually ends up with a bunch of scantily clad college girls freezing their butts off on their way home at 3am, and a bunch of really drunk college guys walking around smashing pumpkins.

This year was no exception, and we even had someone come inside our fence and onto our porch to take one of our big ones.  We found it in our neighbors driveway in pieces.  All I want to know is, who's raising these kids to act like that?  I know I'm only 5 years out of college, but it seems things have gotten so much more gross with all the partying and everything that comes with it.  (And I totally get to say all that.  I'm 30 now and I have kids.)

I don't know, maybe I need to go smash a few pumpkins and it will make sense.  For now though, I could do without this holiday, its candy, and the effort it takes to find a almost 4 year old a purple dragon costume (because there's no way I'm going to attempt to sew one).  Bah humbug.

I would be irritated by all those things as well. I would like to put in a request for pictures of kids in costumes though.
